Palak Trivedi’s debut self - published poetry collection, Dandelion Queen, unpacks personal identities such as being a daughter, granddaughter, sister, and first-generation Indian-American girl in a primarily white world. Dandelion Queen explores the trials of childhood, from bullying to familial and personal strife, through the eyes of a child whose view of the world is a mirror into her life at home and at school. Dandelion Queen is illustrated by Gabriel Israel. It was released on December 21st, 2020.
